Rachel Maryann Carvalho (b. 2002) is a photographer, writer, UI/UX designer, and computer engineer whose multidisciplinary practice centers on emotional inquiry and vulnerability. Drawing from personal experiences, she crafts universal connections, exploring how intimate narratives and systematic documentation reveal human patterns: identity, mental health, and societal pressures. Through photography, writing, book-making, and an emerging interest in gaming as a creative lens, she investigates the intersections of personal and collective storytelling.

​Her experimental practice balances technical precision with conceptual depth, as she navigates the evolving contours of her artistic voice. Rachel is currently pursuing an MDes in Information Arts and Information Design at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Bangalore), set to complete in May 2026. She holds a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from Agnel Institute of Technology & Design (Goa, 2023).
